Input Sought for HB 3279 Rule Making
The first rule making meeting for HB 3279, which requires new reporting and certification requirements with BOLI for custodial companies, was held last week. ORA's lobbyist, Amanda Dalton, represented ORA at the meeting.
Following the initial session, Dalton requested additional information from QRFs on a number of topics, including how they use subcontractors, materials used for workplace harassment and discrimination training, how much QRFs already carry in liability coverage, etc. A message has already gone to the ORA Employment Committee and to QRF Executive Directors, but if you have something to contribute contact Corey Jeppesen so he can forward the specifics of Dalton's request.
There will also be a phone call around this topic before the next rule making session. If you would like to participate, please complete this Doodle poll to show your availability.
