DHS Rules Advisory Committee invitation (SB948)
You have been identified as a representative of a stakeholder group potentially impacted by or interested in upcoming Oregon Administrative Rule changes. The Department’s task is to implement SB948 (here). To do so, the Background Check OARs (Chapter 407, Division 007) and the DD Agency Certification OARs (Chapter 411, Division 323) need updates. We are required by the Bill to have these changes adopted by January 1, 2018.
We will be holding a Rules Advisory Committee Meeting on Friday October 13, 2017, from 1:30 until as late as 5. We will be at the Human Services Building at 500 Summer St NE in Salem, Room 160. If you are unable to attend in person, please consider finding a delegate who can represent your stakeholder group’s interests and forward this information on to them, and their contact information to me. We are currently at work on editing the rule language and will make every effort to get it to you in advance so you will have a chance to review it.
