ACL Announces Grant Recipients
As some of you may recall from previous editions of Week in Review, the Oregon Resource Association was among more than 100 organizations that applied for a grant through the Administration for Community Living (ACL) to help launch our Oregon Quality Initiative.
Sadly, ORA was not one of the three recipients. ACL announced the winning proposers on Friday. Living Well Georgia, the New Hampshire Quality Framework, and Project Living Well at Virginia Commonwealth University will all share $1.35 million over the next five years to focus on building the capacity of HCBS systems and enhancing community monitoring to prevent abuse, neglect, and exploitation. Their projects began on Oct 1.
