Tell your legislators: 
It is time to Value the Work and Raise DSP Wages!

To begin, download our pre-made fillable form here, open it, then follow the instructions below.

1. Open the form in Acrobat.
2. Upload Your picture by clicking in the big box on the upper right of the form.
3. Provide Your name and email address.
4. Click to find Your elected officials. Once the page opens – type your home address in the upper left corner. The search results will provide your state senator and state representative.
5. Copy and paste the names of your state senator and representative into the form.
6. Copy and paste the email addresses of your state senator and your state representative into emails.
7. In the blanks on the form… Explain what you love about your job (for example, how you love making a difference, watching people grow, connecting people to their communities, etc.).
8. Answer the question “But this means” with how you are impacted by low wages (for example,  you can’t afford rent or groceries, you will soon have to quit because of childcare costs, you have to work a second job, you have to rely on your spouse’s income, etc.)
9. Save the form.
10. Attach the form to the emails to your state senator and state representative, then click send!
