Cadres
Executive and Manager
A cadre is a group of professionals who come together to discuss current issues within the I/DD field. There are currently four Cadres that meet on a quarterly basis:
The purpose of the ORA Executive Cadre is to give members a chance to network with peers and to provide an opportunity for more in-depth discussions of hot button issues, current trends and best practices. Content is driven by the group and meetings are attached to the ORA Quarterly Meeting in order to make attendance more convenient. This Cadre is aimed at Executive Directors and Directors. Manager Cadres The purpose of the Manager Cadres are to cultivate future leaders in the I/DD field, provide professional development opportunities and expand networking options for direct line and mid-level managers. The Manager Cadres meet on a Quarterly basis and are split into two regions; Northern and Southern. Human Resource Cadres The purpose of the HR Cadre is to give HR Professionals a chance to network with other HR professionals in the I/DD field. This Cadre offers information on laws, rules and policies affecting employee relations, and gives participants an opportunity to discuss current trends and topics with other HR professionals. Contact us if you have questions, or would like to add a Cadre module to your membership. |
