During the course of this training, participants will have the opportunity to create their own task designs and practice their teaching techniques. This class is approved for 12 hours of continuing education for employment services providers.*
This will be two days of FUN and Learning, with lots opportunities for hands on practice and skill building.
Learning Objectives:
• Learn the purpose of a task design, considerations when developing a task design, and practice creating your own task designs.
• Learn the purpose of a task analysis, how to develop a task analysis, and how to collect data.
• Teaching strategies, preparing to teach, different methods for providing assistance, and methods for fading.
• Learn tools needed for a successful job start.
• Learn how to identify and implement natural supports.
• Learn how to establish positive supports and job retention.
*This course can be modified to virtual and therefore offer a differing amount of approved CECs
